Plans for 2024 are still being developed, but here is a flavour and you can also see what we did last year. Expect all this to be updated by the end of May.

We are Molesey Regatta and we hold our two day rowing event every year along the banks of the River Thames along the Hurst Park in East Molesey upstream from Hampton Court Palace . Racing involves the masters and senior adult racing on Saturday and Juniors on Sunday. We charge entry fees to race but all the other entertainment we provide is free.

We have marquees with a food and beer tent ,

We have a stage for music and performers to entertain the spectators and rowers.

There is children’s entertainment ranging from a circus workshop, stilt walking , bubbly balloon blowing to outdoor games face painting and so on.

his event has taken place every year apart from during the First and Second Year Wars since 1867 and  is a well loved local event amongst the local and rowing communities. It is where the land and river come together.

We are also an eco friendly event using re-usable and re-cycling plastics and are we are very much involved with the preservation of the hurst parkland and the insect and bird life that thrives along this stretch of river.

Molesey Regatta is once again putting on a show for everybody from our excited competitors hunting down medals to spectators, adults and children and our four-legged friends.

Over the two days there will be a mini Beer Festival plus Ciders, Lager, Pimms and special edition Gins.

There is an assortment of food and non-alcoholic drinks ranging from Teas, Cakes Sandwiches to Pizza, Barbecue and Lebanese food which we hope you will all enjoy.

And let’s not forget the Fire Engine and the Ice creams.

There is Music for adults and children featuring Pop Performers Dance School whose owner Claire Bender frequently appears on the local music scene and is also singing later with another local gal, Sandy Renton in ‘3am’.

They are going to liven up the mood with a medley of Blues sounds and cover tracks to warm up the crowd for the final act of the evening featuring ‘Funkyard 7’ another local set of 7 eclectic musicians who promise to get us all up and dancing with their groovy funky sounds.

The Infinity Church are not only providing children’s fun activities but are going to share the stage during both days with a mix of folk and jazz sounds.

Finally on Sunday we have yet more music on the stage from another local band ‘The Alternators’ promising to entertain our Sunday visitors with a mix of musical genres.
